As you may think, what is the difference between AI Virtual Assistants and Human Virtual Assistants?
Well one is quite obvious! Ones human and one isnt. But how does this really affect how they are utilised in today’s online shenanigans?
When is comes to AI VAs, they are quite useful when it comes to quick and easy, repeatable tasks as they are easy to get set-up and running.
However when it comes to using Human VAs, they are more useful for problem solving required task that need to have human input.
The Strengths of Human Virtual Assistants
Human VAs have recently become an obsession within a wide variety of industries, especially more online focussed ones! However does this mean they are as great as they are made out to be?
Obviously we have first hand experience with virtual assistants (M&C’s Virtual Assistant Agency) so we can confirm that we do know what we are talking about.
The main strength of a Human VA is that you can really create a professional bond with them, understand them and them to understand you.
That is, if you didn’t know, the most important thing when it comes to getting work done efficiently and effectively.
However, that is not the only super-power they hold. Because they have a conscious mind they have the ability to problem solve by themselves, with a little bit of assistant from yourself.
I know we are an Agency for Virtual Assistants so it would make sense to just boast on about them and not mention any of the shadows they attain (what I mean by shadows is weaknesses) but I can honestly say they could not be more useful.
The Shadows Of Human Virtual Assistants
They are difficult. No not really but I would say to train them compared to if it was in person is more straining. As you may be aware of, training face to face is much more effective than doing it on a video call.
Know this isn’t the VA’s fault as that is just how it is, they wouldn’t be a ‘Virtual Assistant’ if they were in an office would they.
Whenever you try to get across a point you mainly use your emotions to display it.
Another shadow I would point out is the difficulty to share software and important documents they need.
Due to the ‘Virtual’ aspect of everything, we have to rely on the factor that we are always at the computer.
How Does AI Compare?
It doesn’t really. Besides the occasional use of ChatGPT, or some other AI softwares, you cant really get the same results from what a Human VA can do.
The only benefit that I could say comes from an AI VA is that it is quick and simple.
When you want a quick text witten up, all that needs to be done is a few key words, the required length and the topic. That’s it.
Simples.
Can you really build a relationship with a Human Virtual Assistant?
YES!
You absolutely can. Many people may believe that because it is all online, you can’t connect with them.
But this is far from the truth, with first hand experience in communicating with VAs, I can personally say that they are super easy to talk to.
As mentioned before, their main super-power is being human!
